Nicholas Masterson, oboe
Nick Masterson is currently a member of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra in Charleston, SC. He has performed with the St. Louis and Houston Symphonies and has attended the Tanglewood, National Repertory, Spoleto USA, and Colorado Music Festivals.
Since joining the International Contemporary Ensemble in 2003, Nick has performed numerous concerts in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. In the summer of 2008, he was involved in the critically acclaimed American premiere of the Xenakis opera Oresteia at the Miller Theater in New York.
Nick Masterson was born in Ringgold, Georgia and holds a undergraduate degree from the Oberlin Conservatory and a Master's degree from Rice University.
