ICE OUTREACH EVENT:
Saturday, May 29 at 6:00 pm
Toy Piano Zoo!

Casa Sandia
1359 W. 16th Street in Pilsen

Phyllis Chen, toy pianist

The toy piano speaks to children of every age. A dozen miniature works by young composers will combine various orchestral instruments with the toy piano. It’s an intimate, informal way for children to get to know musical sounds. A workshop and group composition/improvisation session will be led by ICE musicians.

Bring a beverage, and young, open ears.

ICE is grassroots, and community-oriented. That’s why all ICE Fest concerts are free and open to the public. We are fortunate to attract wonderful audiences; ICE concerts often fill completely. So reservations are strongly recommended: 312 494 2655

ICE Fest is made possible through the generous support of hundreds of individual donations – both small and large – from people who share ICE’s mission of promoting the music of our time. This project is partially supported by a Community Arts Assistance Program grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. ICE is also grateful for the support of the Music Department of Columbia College Chicago.
