ICE celebrates the 75th birthday of the iconic American composer George Crumb with a concert featuring a new 8x12 foot canvas inspired by Crumb's music, created especially for the event by the London-based Spanish painter Fernando Velazquez. The painting, conceived in conjunction with Crumb’s music, was commissioned by Rosenberg + Kaufman Fine Art. Soprano Tony Arnold, winner of the Gaudeamus International Interpreters Competition, will join the ensemble for this very special performance.
