Music of Mauricio Kagel

Rosenberg + Kaufman Fine Art

The music of Mauricio Kagel and the paintings of Phillis Ideal share an unusual interest in humor and “play” as a means of artistic expression. As tragedy was a hallmark of the art of the Romantic Era, these two make a case for the serious use of comedy.
