This very special event presents an important collaboration between two unique artists: composer Huang Ruo has been acclaimed for his blending of music from his native China with European modernism, while painter Linda Schrank is well known for her abstract paintings.
This concert will feature several new video works by Ms. Schrank, created in response to Huang Ruo’s music, as well as the world premiere of To the Four Corners, a new piece of theater music by Huang Ruo, inspired by Ms. Schrank’s painting.
