Lambtastix: Eric Lamb at The Tank

ICE’s fierce flutist Eric Lamb takes Manhattan with a solo recital at The Tank on Thursday, February 4 at 7:30pm.

With a growing following in the US and Europe, Lamb is widely known as an artist who defies definition. A soloist, orchestral musician, passionate chamber musician and teacher, he challenges audiences with intensely energetic playing and unflinching musical commitment.

In this ICEcast we feature an interview with Eric as he discusses his love for Kaija Saariaho, collaboration with contemporaries, and where he’s at right now as an artist, before playing a selection from Tōru Takemitsu.
