Experimentation is around every bend and corner of Walt Disney Concert Hall at Noon to Midnight. The International Contemporary Ensemble joins many other top new-music ensembles from around the country at this day-long festival of pop-up performances. The Ensemble will bring works by George Lewis, Ann Cleare, and works from the National Composers Intensive.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic and the International Contemporary Ensemble invite composers ages 18-30 from all backgrounds to submit examples of their work to be considered as participants in the National Composers Intensive. The program will select seven composers, who will have the opportunity to workshop their pieces, both in New York and in Los Angeles, culminating in a performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Applications for 2019 are now closed.
