a special evening to benefit
the international contemporary ensemble
thursday, april 18, 2019, 6PM

Join us in kicking off our groundbreaking residency at The Shed with cocktails, conversation, and live performance at a private residence near Prospect Park on Thursday, April 18, 6pm.

From April 23rd to May 12th, the Ensemble will perform the World Premiere of an immersive work conceived by composer Steve Reich and painter Gerhard Richter to celebrate the opening of the newest cultural center in New York City, The Shed. The Reich/Richter pairing examines the intersection between Richter’s formula for his “Patterns” series and Reich’s rigorous, repeating musical structures.

In celebration of the creative intersection between visual and sonic arts, join us for a night in exploring the shared language of music and...cocktails!

• Hors d’oeuvres to complement each cocktail course followed by a delicious supper and dessert
• Craft cocktail menu curated by Dave Arnold’s legendary mixology team, Existing Conditions—ensuring an extraordinary drinking experience
• Musical Pairings to accompany each cocktail by members of the Ensemble
• One ticket to the Ensemble’s 4:30pm show on April 28 at The Shed*
